And DRP: I wonder if the lousy marketing campaign could've been carefully orchestrated to bring people in not knowing what to expect. Mentioning Sam Raimi will get the <i>Evil Dead</i> fans, and selling it as Just Another Summer Horror Movie will pull in everybody else. But I doubt they're that clever. I also didn't look at any reviews, or even the meta-critic score. Some buddies told me it was definitely worth it so I checked it out. It blew my face to the back of my skull. It's not perfect, but I don't remember having such a good time at a movie since Planet Terror. I'm so glad I don't watch tv, or read many reviews. It was rather a surprise for me even knowing the movie was out. Maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. I didn’t know a damn thing about the movie before I went in.
