Also, don't forget this important fact: Being molested by a priest turns you gay.

I'm still so surprised that most other reviews haven't mentioned how completely preposterous the movie is. If someone reading this blog could explain just what the hell those nutty doctors were trying to do, I'd be much obliged. 'Cause when Leoben was telling his husband not to worry, he'd have a new strong body soon, which, incidentally, would be a woman's body, I just about lost it. I mean, he already had a woman's ARM attached to him. What was that about?

I really can't believe that after 10 years, this is the movie they came up with. I think they were so shocked the project got approved that they just went ahead with the first draft and started shooting.

My thoughts, pretty much exactly.

I think the only redeeming factor for this was - as you mentioned - the high production values. Plot holes & flaws set aside, I thought the camera work was pretty decent.

The overall "reveal" could've been done better. They spent 90% of the movie investigating the situation with the missing women, 5% with the kid and his operation, 4% with Mulder's life-threatening jog through the snow and the remaining 1% of the movie was the head-replacement scenes and Skinner putting the smack down on the doctors.

Okay so I was pretty giddy about Skinner's 5-minute cameo.
