It's turned the Jacks dad reveal into one of those classic moments that the general population shits itself over, while the hardcore fans sit there nonplussed because they obsessed themselves into figuring it out weeks earlier. That was the one thing about the episode I found kind of annoying just because I knew once they got to the damn cabin they'd see Christian Shepard and I just wanted them to get it over with already. I mean, he has appeared in there before...I was a little surprised to see Claire there, but since she wandered off with him last episode, it wasn't that shocking. I've basically given up trying to understand the time discrepencies going on between the boat and the island because thinking about it makes my head hurt.
