Of course, getting killed on this show doesn't seem to mean all that much. I think Naomi's has more screen time after she died than she did when she was a live, and Tom's getting up there. And then Jack's dad has been a fairly major character on the show, and he's been dead since the first episode. There's no reason we wouldn't get more of Rousseau's story in flashbacks and such; all it would mean is that she's no longer around to stand in the background and stare meaningfully at people.

Since like you say the "sickness" of Rousseau's crew ties in with the suicidal people on the freighter, I'm guessing they're related and they're building up to a big reveal and they'll be getting to that fairly soon. Or not. It's "Lost," after all.

I'm really, REALLY hoping that Libby's brief appearances mean that they've got the actress back and they're going to resolve her whole story pretty soon. It's been driving me nuts ever since they showed her in Hurley's flashback.

He's my son! also made an appearance, amazingly. Spoiler spoiler etc... I hope that Rousseau isn't dead. Having her wandering around for 3.5 years without a flashback episode dedicated to her -- especially with the seeming parallels between what happened with the crew on her boat all those years ago, and the weirdness with the freighter -- and then offing her is lame.

I am glad they got at least one shot of Michael screaming "WAAAAALLLLLTTTT!!!!" even if it was in a previously on clip, no Michael episode would be complete without it.
