I think it was a bad move putting Bill Murray in it at all, because i knew he was existing in the same place as the three brothers. At times i wished i was on the train with him and not the three brothers.

I noticed Owen Wilson did not have a hand in writing this one. It was Wes Anderson, a Coppola and Jason Schwartzman. Does this mean that Owen Wilson is a much better writer than i ever imagined?

Last week, "The Simpsons" did an episode that was a take-off on "The Departed," and at the end, a rat walks across a fence, and Ralphie pops out of a garbage can and says, "The rat symbolizes obviousness!" Which was hilarious. But the thing is, when I saw that rat in the movie, I thought the same thing, and was convinced Scorsese had put that in there to be funny, it's just SO obvious a symbol.

Which is what I thought about the whole "baggage" thing in "Darjeeling." It was just so obvious, it made me laugh. You're probably right, and Anderson et al put that in there seriously. But I prefer to think they didn't, and I like the movie a lot more because of that.
