And now I shall. That said, I wonder what's up with Peter Weller these days? Might have to make it a double-bill with Buckaroo Bonzai. Cronenberg seems to have annointed Vigo Mortensen as the inheritor to Weller's sallow-cheeked, strong-jawed, ironically humorless schtick. That scene is shot like they watched the final scene of <i>The Wild Bunch</i> and thought, "pussies." And yeah, throughout the whole movie, they treat shots to the kneecaps like they were warning shots. Cory: No worries, as far as I'm concerned this is 100% a Paul Verhoeven movie. That does happen right? All I remember from Robocop is that is crazy violent ( people don't just get shot they get shot in the kneecaps, and worse if i recall ), and i wanted Ed-209 to win the robot fight at the end.
