Man, me and blogs, we have walked a hard road. I have a hard time keeping them up to date because they lack 1) a purpose, 2) an audience, 3) a responsible adult in charge of them. But I try.

Things are good here. I left the Borg and now work for Zipper making shoot-em-up games. The Seattle area is cheaper by a factor of a lot, so I no longer feel like I am going to die from financial stress. Overall, it's a positive.

Anyway, I am around.

Howdy, Joe! I'd been wondering what happened to you! (In my world, once people stop updating their blogs, they cease to exist.)

Seems like everybody I know is moving to Seattle, which makes me feel like I'm in Exodus but am one of the guys who gets left behind wondering where everybody went. Although if Seattle's flooded, then I guess I'm still on the side of the good guys. Still, as you were driving away I hope you warned your wife not to look back at the city, lest she be turned to a pillar of salt.

And by "everybody I know," I mean "about four or five people," which is still a lot, per capita.
