		<description>Yeah, it&#039;s amazing the game came out good, much less great, when you consider it had to be a tech demo for the Wii &lt;em&gt;and&lt;/em&gt; the sequel to a Mario game. Still, I spend the whole time feeling like I&#039;ve got no depth perception.

And as far as I can tell, the extra lives don&#039;t carry over. But apparently Princess Peach is being kept in a pit full of 1-Ups, because she keeps mailing them to me. I haven&#039;t minded the Game Over screens, because it&#039;s a signal for me to go to bed.</description>

		<description>I like the fact that there is really no sense to any thing that happens in this game. It&#039;s like they took every single idea on the planet and made a game mechanic out of it just to show developers that you can do it on the wii. the only thing that seems to be missing is a first person shooter level or a diablo style RPG, but i am sure it&#039;s in there i just have not found it yet.

I do agree the space observatory thing is no where as cool as the castle from mario 64, though i don&#039;t know if anything will ever be as cool as that castle.

Old man ranting time:
I struggle with the timing on the punch mechanic a lot. I can successfully navigate all these crazy levels, and yet will lose health points because i can&#039;t punch the little mushroom guys consistently. I just avoid them now.

Also do your extra lives not carry over between save games? it seems like I&#039;ll leave the game with 10 lives, then when i restart i am back to 3.

but this game is so chock full of wackiness and solid mechanics that i can&#039;t help but love it.</description>
