Jonathan: Yeah, that's why I can't decide. "Fantasy Island" was second only to "Night Gallery" in shows that could freak my shit out. I can still remember one where a woman is on the island for a vacation, and she runs into this barn, and the barn just explodes. She died! On her vacation! That scared the crap out of me when I was 7 or so.

But on the other hand, I'd love to see how they could work something dark and sinister into "The Love Boat."

Hiero: I still haven't seen "Pushing Daisies," but I'm a little wary of it because I hated "Wonderfalls" so much. It was trying so desperately hard to be clever, I've never wanted to just slap a television series so hard.

Fantasy Island could actually be pretty dark and Edgy. Especially in the episodes that focused on Rourke. I remember one where Rourke fought and defeated the devil (played by Roddy McDowall), brought people back from the dead, and episodes that explore just how powerful the dude was. Rourke dated Helen of Troy.

Hell, he could even make hotties fall in love with Don Knotts.

I watched Bionic Woman too. So far it seems like Alias with a way hotter girl. Way.

I can't remember where I read it, but I agree with the sentiment that Michelle Ryan seems to have been concentrating so hard on her American accent that she forgot to actually ACT. Perhaps it's all on purpose, you know, making her somewhat robotic to begin with, but man. She was just not interesting AT ALL.
