Throw in Queen Latifah as a sassy veterinarian from the streets who comes along for the ride and you've got something.

Now you've done it. You know Hollywood producers have that ECHELON technology and just by typing "Snow Dogs and Boat Trip" on the internet, you've automatically generated a pitch for a movie where, due to a series of wacky mishaps, Cuba Gooding ends up going undercover on an all-Gay Iditarod.

I'm gonna market a double bill of Snow Dogs and Boat Trip. My defense will be, 'You just dont get Cuba Gooding, man! See man these are clever homages to (insert obscure fish out water comedy)...if you only knew that you'd see how great they are!'

How can you fight what you don't UNDERSTAND, little man? If you can't comprehend the nuances of Tarantino's vision, why don't you let the true grown-ups discuss The Cinema while you run along and watch Snow Dogs?

I agree with you 100% about the ship's mast stuff. Jeez, in a movie that was full to bursting with moments where you just kept saying "shut up shut up shut up!" that still stood out as annoying.

I had the opposite reaction to Rose McGowan. I've never liked her in anything I've seen her in, until Planet Terror. I could hardly believe it was the same actress. The whole "Ava Gardner" bit was excessive, but apart from that, she just owned it. Then in Death Proof she was right back to normal and annoying, the same old thing from "Charmed" and Scream.

Well played Chuck.

Both halves of DP had enjoyable moments. I particularly liked the nacho scene as setting up Mike as a scumbag. It also made me very hungry for nachos, which I devoured like a scumbag after the movie.

Rose's character was the only one I really was into during the first half. Maybe because I find her unbelievably hotter than all the other girls, but it's probably because she had the most chemistry with Mike. Yeah, he recited the poem to Butterfly, and had the story about his book, but I didn't find that as appealing as his interactions with Rose.

Of all the things to cut on the second half, I'd have done away with at least two of the seemingly endless warnings about 'ships mast'. I wanted to scream at the screen, "I GET IT ALREADY!".

I think I liked every part of PT. You mentioned the kids gun accident as breaking the rules. I'd agree. But I also thought it was pretty clever commentary. I loved the line, "Now honey, you just shoot them in the head just like in your video games." "What balls!", I thought. But two seconds later we get one of the biggest anti-gun statements ever...and from a movie loaded to the brim with guns. Good fun.
