I think they attempt to give a half-assed explanation, but then just kind of drop it, not so much because they realized it was obviously a bad idea to give an explanation, but because they realized *their* explanation was a bad idea.

Remake of Rear Window. Instead of a charming Mr. Jefferies, our main character is an annoying teenager under house arrest. He spies his creepy neighboor killing people. We can call it Disturbia! Wait…oh…

I never saw it and can’t find a recap online. Did they try to provide a helpful explanation as to exactly why the birds were attacking?

I’m still cracking up over that quote.

Hmmm….I hope you don’t suddenly get five comments from me, all saying the same thing, as it doesn’t seem like my comments went through….but I’ll say it again without the link, just in case.

This sounds almost as awesome as the 1994 sequel, “The Birds II: Land’s End.”
