battlestar is a tough 1.. the best series was the 2nd.. the 4th series started off so strong on new caprica with 2 great episodes..and then the 4th series got progressively worse until I felt I was watching a different show.. BSG is at its best when its about terrorism and mirroring real events. The stand alone episodes completely suck. The problem with the 4th series is the 20 episodes. It was so much better with a short strong 10 episode arc with no filler. The cylons being a real threat, being on the run, is one of them a cylon..and the overarching storylines have been lost in the last 7 or 8 episodes and thats sad. As for Lost I stopped watching after a couple of episodes of the 3rd season when I realised it was well and truly going nowhere and I feel so much better for it. When David Fury jumped ship after the first season when he was their best writer and an executive producer I knew something was wrong. His statements after his departure were proven spot on also. They got no idea what they are doing but they are pretending they do...
