I made a minor correction to the list. Here is the updated version:

1. Repo Man
2. Stoned Age

You're welcome.

Coincidence?

I'm just not that big of a Bond movie fan. Casino Royale is my favorite of them, and as much as I liked it, I wouldn't call it one of my favorites yet.

I thought I'd get in trouble for not putting Superman on the list. It should probably be on there, anyway, but every time I started I kept thinking of the "Can you read my mind?" bit.

No Bond Movie!? "Goldfinger" or maybe "Casino Royale"? You have to include at least one. As an aside, have you ever noticed that the first three notes of the song "Goldfinger" are the same three notes of "Moon River"? Just an observation.

Ooo, so close. "dumb-ass" is the phrase that pays.

Yes, the list is in 100% scientifically accurate order. My problem with Lebowski is that it gets better every time you see it, so in my mental list of best movies ever, it never occurs to me until later. Plus I was having to restrain myself from filling the list with Coen Brothers movies.

I liked Shaun of the Dead well enough, but didn't think it was all that memorable. And even if X-Men 2 didn't have 2 of the most bad-ass sequences in action movies ever (Nightcrawler's opening, and Rogue getting sucked out of the plane), it has Famke Janssen. She always trumps working-class English dudes.

Are these listed in order of importance? If so, I'd move Lebowski up to the top five. While I'd agree with most of your choices, (as they are sitting on my shelves as I write this), Shaun of the Dead could could oust X-Men 2 any old day of the week...populist.
