At least, not without getting kickbacks from Apple & Dell. I'd say get the larger monitor and rationalize it as a peace-of-mind expense. Because if you're anything like me, once you get the idea stuck in your head that you need a bigger monitor, it just doesn't go away. But if he does get a new monitor, I get the aforementioned obscenely large monitor, so it's in my best interest to lead him astray. What to do, what to do...
