And I don’t care what nobody says, it just don’t get any better than LeSueur Very Young Small Innocent Tiny Baby Early Peas. They taste better than vegetables should, and you’ll get the can away from me when you pry it from my cold, dead, vitamin-enriched fingers.

Dude, canned vegetables? What are you, an animal?? If you’re not going to go fresh (and fresh peas are a hassle, granted, but fresh corn is pretty damned easy to make) go the frozen vegetable route. Just cook as much as you need, and put the rest back in the freezer!

And I’ll admit I’m a single woman living alone and all, so it’s kind of the law that you’ve got to buy the sad frozen dinners. But it helped me lose about 20 pounds. Just stay away from Healthy Choice’s stuff. It tastes like ass. Lean Cuisine is pretty good, though. And I always add some kind of steamed fresh vegetable to whatever frozen dinner I’m eating. Takes all of 10 minutes for all of it.

Better than canned vegetables and dinner rolls, I can tell you that…
