		<description>Wow, it's kind of nice to hear someone admit what I often feel re:  the Important Movies.  When a movie's touted as a landmark in cinema and you like to think of yourself as an intelligent cultural consumer, then it's hard not to feel kind of abashed when you just aren't digging it on a personal level.   

Same concept applies to when I listen to the Beatles, or listen to the latest generation of music lovers wax rhapsodic about the Fab Four...  I appreciate how they transformed the direction of pop music simply because it's a core fact of rock history.  Still, maybe it's overexposure, maybe it's that so many subsequent acts distilled and remixed their sound and techniques to the point of over-saturation, or maybe I'm just a musical imbecile - but when I listen to them it always feels a little more obligatory than enjoyable.  But don't tell anyone I said that.</description>
