Iron Chef USA was terrible, but Iron Chef America actually *gets* it. It's just enough theater, mixed with the actual cooking that it works. The only thing it's missing are the repeat challengers, who are looking to settle a grudge, but I figure it'll take 'em a couple seasons to get enough contestants that they can legitimately form these sorts of rivalries.
