Also, you haven't done room service until you've gotten totally drunk, it's 2am, you're ravenously hungry, you're not near any 24 hour restaurants, and all you want is a pile of pancakes, some eggs and some sausage, and you get to your room and realize the hotel has 24 HOUR ROOM SERVICE AND BREAKFAST ALL DAY.

At that point, 40 bucks for eggs, sausage and pancakes seems like mere pennies.

Just don't pass out before the delivery gets to your door.

I tend to enjoy any meal that doesn't involve me having to leave my house (or hotel room) or having to cook. And I also like more than just pizza or chinese food, so that means I end up spending more than I should on take-out, some of it kind of pricey (yes, I have paid the 8 buck delivery fee just to get something via Waiters on Wheels.) It just sometimes seems totally worth it to me.

But I think if I were to do it every day, it might eventually creep me out that I was spending that much money on food.

To each his own, I guess. I just don't have the mindset for it. If I were having to pay for it, I'd be freaking out the whole time about how expensive it is. And when I'm not having to pay for it, it just makes me feel gross to be indulging like that.

Man, I LOOOOVE getting room service. Of course I always balk at the cost, but it's always seemed worth it the times I've done it. Nothing beats eating eggs benedict in my jammies while sitting in bed and not giving a fuck whether I spil anything on the sheets or not.
