		<description>That's really the best attitude to take about it, Seppo.  Keeps you from getting too wrapped up in the Significance Of Your Art and in the mindset of doing it just to do it.  Glad to hear you're giving it a shot!

		<description>A friend of mine started NaNoWriMo early, and the stuff he's shown me so far is literally *the best thing I've ever read*. And let me tell you, as much as I'd want it to be inspiring, and something to aspire to, it's almost soul-crushingly oppressive. It's a great piece of work, no doubt, but it really makes you take stock, and wonder, what the fuck am *I* doing this for?

And, to that end, I wrote more than 5,000 words today. I'm doing it simply because I can. And I don't mean that in the why did the idiot leave his newborn child and wife to climb Everest and die sort of way, I mean it more in the sense that my life is pretty good, I've got some free time. I don't have to work all the time simply to sustain my life. I have the freedom to be creative, even if I suck at it. Might as well give it a shot.
